This might be a problem for a few here besides me on HoFo, but certainly a problem for Red Pocket. There is a newer thread on Reddit regarding this and a few have stated that they have been successful with a workaround, but that method did not work for me, so I am not posting it here. None of which are 5G, and it worked for data in all & calls in the phone. I tried the sim in an iPhone 11 Pro Max and two iPads. So, I suspect the 5G service is costing them more from Verizon than previously, and since more phones have that now, they are just blocking those who have it currently. Eventually she agreed to have the sim sent to me for no charge, and I should get it in a week or less. That request was denied, but the rep suggested I could BUY a AT&T compatible sim for $5 and they would port my remaining service to that carrier. So, I asked for a refund for remaining service. They even tried to whitelist my phone by IMEI but that did not work. the rep said they no longer support ANY service in 5G phones period. After the usual reset network, reboot, etc. My iPhone 13 Pro Max plan quit working a day or two ago. I have had their annual plans for a few years and overall, cost & service was good. After a lengthy chat session with Red Pocket Support on 10-15-21 they now claim there will be no service for the plans that are used in 5G phones.
